Temperature Gauge: Testing and Inspection
Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge Check
ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE GAUGE CHECK
1. Remove the power supply attaching screw.
2. Use a circuit tester to measure the resistance value between the terminals.
CAUTION: When inserting the test probe into the power supply terminal, be careful not to touch the printed board.
Standard values:
<Standard Meter/Hi Contrast Meter>
Power supply-Water temperature gauge: 54 Ohm/59 Ohm
Power supply-Ground: 176.5 Ohm
Water temperature gauge-Ground: 230.5 Ohm/230.5 Ohm
