Vacuum Brake Booster Check Valve: Testing and Inspection
CAUTION: If the check valve is defective, replace it as an assembly, never attempt to disassemble it.
1. Remove the vacuum hose.
2. Remove the check valve.
3. Check the operation of the check valve by using a vacuum pump.
4. Connect vacuum pump to brake booster side "A," vacuum should be created and held.
5. Connect vacuum pump to intake manifold side "B," vacuum should not be created.
