Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair
FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE
1.
Raise and support vehicle.
2.
Disconnect fuel pump electrical connector.
3.
Lower vehicle.
4.
Start engine and allow to idle.
5.
After engine has stopped, turn ignition switch to the Off position, then disconnect battery ground cable.
6.
After fuel system repairs are complete, reconnect fuel pump connector.
