4. Remove shock absorber in numbered sequence shown in Fig. 5 for models less active electronic controlled suspension (ECS), or Fig. 6 for models

with (ECS).

5. Reverse procedure to install. On models with active-electronic controlled suspension note the following:

a. Apply a coat of rubber grease to O-ring on shock air tube connection,  Fig. 7.
b. Insert air tube until resistance is felt, then push tube in to paint mark on tube.
c. After connecting air tube, to prevent double folding of diaphragm, with vehicle still raised and supported, press vehicle height switch (High)

for two seconds or longer to select Extra High mode so air will be supplied to air springs.
