Wiper Relay: Testing and Inspection

Refer to Fig. 44 for terminal identification when checking wiper relay.
1. Turn column switch to Off or AUTO position. Ensure continuity exists between terminals 3 and 0.0 and between terminals 1 and 12. Ensure no
continuity exists between terminal 3 and 12.
2. Connect B+ to terminal 12 and battery negative to terminal 1, then ensure battery voltage is present at terminal 3.
