2/4 CLUTCH PISTON RETAINER PARTS IDENTIFICATION (F4AC1 TRANSAXLE)
PURPOSE
This bulletin has information about a change made to the configuration of the 2/4 clutch piston retainer used in the 1995-97 Eclipse F4AC1 automatic
transaxle.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The 2/4 clutch piston retainer is changed to include a pierced (or punctured) bleed hole. This hole is necessary and should not be misinterpreted as
damage when new replacement retainers are received. Refer to the illustration in the Parts Information section of this bulletin for the location of the bleed
hole.
