STEP 1. Check front-ECU connector A-10X and daytime running light-ECU connector A-38 for loose, corroded or damaged terminals, or
terminals pushed back in the connector.

Q: Is front-ECU connector A-10X and daytime running light-ECU connector A-38 in good condition?

YES: Go to Step 2.

NO: Repair or replace the damaged component(s). Refer to Harness Connector Inspection. Verify the headlights shut-down when the ignition switch
is turned from on to off.

STEP 2. Check the wiring harness between front-ECU connector A-10X (terminal 2) and daytime running light-ECU connector A-38 (terminal
5).
