TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS

Malfunction of the remote controlled radio switch

Malfunction of the radio and cd player

Malfunction of the clock spring
-
Damaged wiring harness or connectors
DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. Check the remote controlled radio switch power supply circuit at the clock spring connector C-84.
1. Disconnect the clock spring connector C-84.
2. Turn the ignition switch to "ON" position.
3. Measure the voltage between terminal 2 and ground.

The measured value should be approximately 5 volts (battery positive voltage).
Q: Does the measured voltage correspond with this range?
YES: Go to Step 4.
NO: Go to Step 2.
