YES: Go to Step 7.

NO: Go to Step 2.

STEP 2. Check the turn-signal lights.

Q: Does either of the turn-signal lights illuminate?

Only right or left side light does not illuminate: Go to Step 3.
Turn-signal lights do not illuminate at all: Go to Step 4.

STEP 3. Check ETACS-ECU connector C-217, junction block connectors C-203 and C-208 for loose, corroded or damaged terminals, or
terminals pushed back in the connector.

Q: Are ETACS-ECU connector C-217, junction block connectors C-203 and C-208 in good condition?

YES: Replace the ETACS-ECU. When the ETACS-ECU is replaced, register the encrypted code. Refer to Encrypted Code Registration Criteria
Table in Antitheft and Alarm Systems. Verify that the turn-signal lights illuminate normally.

NO: Repair or replace the damaged component(s). Refer to Harness Connector Inspection. Verify that the turn-signal lights illuminate normally.
