SUNROOF WATER LEAK

Sunroof Water Leaks - 2006-07 Eclipse. When troubleshooting reported sunroof-related water leaks into the interior, in addition to the usual checks for
proper drain tube attachment and clear water flow, inspect openings in the black plastic molded corner pieces where the drain tubes attach. The corner
piece may have been improperly molded without an opening for the water to drain from the hose. Without the hole, the water backs up into the sunroof
channel, then leaks into the interior. This condition may be difficult to identify with a normal hose water test. A full shower test (large water volume for
over 15 minutes) may be required to duplicate the condition. Test the vehicle using a hose directly into the drain channel at each corner as this condition
may be hard to identify visually.
