CRANKSHAFT IDENTIFICATION MARKS
- SERVICE MANUAL REVISION
PURPOSE
On 2.4L engines, the crankshaft identification marks and their positions have been changed since October 1, 2001 production. The new procedures in
this bulletin apply to the 2002 service manual pages listed below, and to replacement 2.4L crankshafts, crankshaft bearings, and connecting rod bearings
being installed on any of the affected vehicles.
Write the TSB revision number of this bulletin in the "TSB Revision" box at the bottom of the affected service manual page.
