Engine Control Module: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the front center console.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the powertrain control module.
Engine Control Module (ECM) Location
4. Remove the screws and remove the powertrain control module.
5. Reinstall in reverse order.
CAUTION: Do not connect or disconnect the powertrain control module connectors with the negative battery cable connected. A minor spark or
Voltage surge can damage the powertrain control module.
