NEW SOLENOID VALVE HARNESS WITH INTEGRAL
ATF TEMPERATURE SENSOR
PURPOSE
This bulletin contains information about a change in configuration for the A/T solenoid valve harness and transmission fluid (ATF) temperature sensor.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Beginning with September 10, 2000 production, all vehicles with the F4A41, F4A42, F4A51 transaxles have a new solenoid harness with integral ATF
temperature sensor. Vehicles built before that date have a separate ATF temperature sensor.
Affected vehicles with this new integral harness/sensor assembly will require harness replacement in the event of sensor failure.
AFFECTED VEHICLES
2001 Diamante, Eclipse, Galant, Mirage built beginning September 10, 2000 and equipped with the F4A41, F4A42, or F4A51 automatic transaxles.
