Crack at Bottom of windshield Glass - 2004-on Endeavor. If you encounter a crack at the bottom of the windshield glass, inspect where the crack starts.
If the crack starts at a front deck (cowl) garnish clip/claw location, position the glass so it will not contact the clip/claw at the lower edge of the
windshield.
