b. Turn pushrod, Fig. 5, to adjust clutch pedal clevis pin play to proper value, then secure pushrod with locknut. When adjusting clutch pedal
clevis pin play, ensure pushrod is not pushed toward the master cylinder.

Ensure clutch pedal freeplay (C) is 0.2-0.5 inch and distance (D) between clutch pedal pad and firewall when clutch pedal is disengaged, Fig. 6, is
2.2 inches or more.

If clutch pedal freeplay (C) and distance (D) are not within specification, check for air in hydraulic system or a defective clutch or master cylinder
assembly.
