REPAIR KIT INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1.
With the transaxle oil pan removed and drained, remove the valve body and the plug for K/D oil pressure check hole.
2.
Remove the K/D servo cover, piston and spring as described on Page 21-142 in the 1987 Galant Service Manual.
3.
With a fine stone or emery cloth, chamfer the edges of holes A & B (Figure 4). Flush out any particles with clean ATF.
4.
Replace the two D-Rings, O-Ring and seal ring and reassemble the K/D servo, as described on page 21-154 in the 1987 Galant Service Manual.
