Water Pump: Service and Repair

1.

Drain cooling system.

2.

Refer to ``Timing Belt, Replace,'' and remove timing belt as outlined, then remove crankshaft sprocket.

3.

Disconnect water inlet pipe from water pump.

4.

Remove water pump attaching bolts, then the water pump.

5.

Reverse procedure to install, torquing water pump attaching bolts to 14-19 ft. lbs.
