If the harness wire between front passenger's door switch connector D-21 and ground is damaged, repair it. 

The front passenger's door switch input signal should be able to be checked and the functions, which are described in the "Technical Description
(comment)," should work normally.

STEP 10. Check the front passenger's door switch connector D-08 and ETACS-ECU connectors C-82 and C-86 for damage.

If the front passenger's door switch connector D-08 and ETACS-ECU connector C-82 and C-86 are damaged, repair or replace them. Refer to Harness
Connector Inspection.

The front passenger's door switch input signal should be able to be checked and the functions, which are described in the "Technical Description
(comment)," should work normally.

If the connectors are in good condition, go to Step 11.
