STEP 6. Check the harness wires between driver's door switch connector D-25 and ETACS-ECU connector C-82.
NOTE: After checking intermediate connector C-67 and junction block connector C-87, check the wires. If intermediate connector C-67 and junction
block connector C-87 are damaged, repair or replace them. Refer to Harness Connector Inspection.
If the harness wires between driver's door switch connector D-21 and ETACS-ECU connector C-86 are damaged, repair them.
The driver's door switch input signal should be able to be checked and the functions, which are described in the "Technical Description (comment),"
should work normally.
If the harness wires are in good condition, replace the ETACS-ECU.

STEP 7. Check the front passenger's door switch ground circuit at the front passenger's door switch connector D-08.
1. Disconnect the front passenger's door switch connector D-08 and measure at the harness side.
2. Resistance between terminal 3 and ground.

Should be less than 2 Ohms.
If open circuit, go to Step 8.
If less than 2 Ohms, go to Step 10.
STEP 8. Check the front passenger's door switch connector D-08 for damage.
If the front passenger's door switch connector D-08 is damaged, repair or replace it. Refer to Harness Connector Inspection.
The front passenger's door switch input signal should be able to be checked and the functions, which are described in the "Technical Description
(comment)," should work normally.
If the connector is in good condition, go to Step 9.
STEP 9. Check the harness wire between front passenger's door switch connector D-08 and ground.
