STEP 29. Check the rear door switch (LH) connector F-14 and ETACS-ECU connector C-86 for damage.
If the rear door switch (LH) connector F-14 and ETACS-ECU connector C-86 are damaged, repair or replace them. Refer to Harness Connector
Inspection.
The rear door switch (LH) input signal should be able to be checked and the functions, which are described in the "Technical Description (comment),"
should work normally.
If the harness connectors are in good condition, go to Step 30.
STEP 30. Check the harness wires between rear door switch (LH) connector F-14 and ETACS-ECU connector C-86.
NOTE: After checking junction block connector C-87, check the wires. If junction block connector C-87 is damaged, repair or replace it. Refer to
Harness Connector Inspection.
If the harness wires between rear door switch (LH) connector F-14 and ETACS-ECU connector C-86 are damaged, repair them.
The rear door switch (LH) input signal should be able to be checked and the functions, which are described in the "Technical Description (comment),"
should work normally.
If the harness wires are in good condition, replace the ETACS-ECU.
