CIRCUIT OPERATION
The ETACS-ECU uses the input signals from the driver's or front passenger's door lock key cylinder switch to operate the following devices or functions.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION (COMMENT)
The driver's or front passenger's door lock key cylinder switch input signals are used to operate the following devices or functions. If the signal fails,
these devices will not work normally.

DIAGNOSIS

MB991502: Scan Tool (MUT-II)
MB991529: Diagnostic Trouble Code Check Harness
STEP 1. Check the door lock key cylinder switch.
Check the defective door lock key cylinder switch.
If the door lock key cylinder switch is damaged, replace it. The input signal from the driver's and passenger's door lock key cylinder switch should be
able to be checked and the functions, which are described in the "Technical Description (comment)," should work normally.
