<WHEN SCAN TOOL MB991502 IS USED>
CAUTION: To prevent damage to scan tool MB991502, always turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position before connecting or
disconnecting scan tool MB991502. Connect special tool MB991497 before connecting special tool MB991812. Be sure to connect
special tool MB991806 after turning on scan tool MB991502.
1. Connect scan tool MB991502 to the data link connector.
2. Remove the column cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly.
3. Disconnect the steering column switch connector.
4. Connect SWS monitor kit MB991813 to the column switch connector.
