b) Install the key interlock cable on the lock bar and steering lock cylinder as shown above.

2. Shift lock cable installation (selector lever side).

a) Place the selector lever in position "P".

b) Fasten the shift lock cable at the position where the end of the shift lock cable is positioned above the red marking as shown above.

3. Key interlock cable installation (selector lever side).

a) Install the key interlock cable on the lock cam.

b) Install the spring and washer of the key interlock cable as shown above.
c) While lightly pushing the cable coupling portion of the lock cam in the direction A, tighten the nut to fasten the key interlock cable.
