Blower Motor: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove glove box, then the righthand speaker cover.

3.

Remove righthand cowl side trim and knee protector.

4.

Remove lap heater duct or shower duct, as applicable.

5.

Disconnect blower motor electrical connector.

6.

Disconnect ventilation tube from blower assembly.

7.

Remove MPI control unit.

8.

Remove blower motor attaching bolts, then the blower motor from blower case.

9.

Reverse procedure to install.
