Radiator Cooling Fan Temperature Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

Heat sensor by holding it under water as shown in Fig. 1, then connect suitable tester.
2.
Continuity should be present at 180-190° F. Continuity should not be present at 172-183° F.
3.
If continuity is not as specified, replace sensor.
