Turn Signal Lamp: Description and Operation
1. In normal operating condition
-
When the ignition switch is placed in the ON position, battery voltage is applied through the hazard switch to the turn-signal and hazard flasher
unit.

When the turn signal switch is turned to the "LH" or "RH" position, the relay contact turns "ON" and "OFF" repeatedly due to the switching
operation of the condenser and transistor inside the flasher unit, and the turn signal light and the "LH" and "RH" of the turn signal indicator
light flash.
2. When one bulb is burnt

When either one of the turn signal lights is burnt, the resistance of the entire light circuit increases, so that the time required for charging and
discharging of the condenser is shortened, causing the "ON" "OFF" cycle of the relay to become faster than normal and the number of flashes
to increase.
