Axle Nut: Specifications

FRONT AXLE HUB ASSEMBLY

RWD/4WD

Axle Hub Jam Nut (initial torque) ..................................................................................................................................  127 - 196 Nm(94 - 145 ft-lb)

Note: Special Lock Nut Wrench Required.

CAUTION: After first intial tightening of jam nut, turn the hub(rotor) assembly to run in the bearings. Then loosen the nuts to 0 Nm (0
in-lb), then re-tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft-lb), loosen the jam nuts by approximately 30 degree angle.
