Oil Pan: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the under skid plate, undercover. Refer to Body and Fame.
2. Drain the crankcase and remove the front exhaust pipe. 
3. Remove the generator and stabilizer bar. Refer to Steering and Suspension.
4. Remove the front exhaust pipe actuator assembly and heat protector.
5. Refer to the removal steps as outlined in the illustration.
6. Remove the lower oil pan bolts.

7. After removing the oil pan mounting bolts, remove the oil pan with seal cutting tool MD998727, or equivalent, and brass bar.
