Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair
(HOW TO REDUCE PRESSURIZED FUEL LINES)
When removing the fuel pipe, hose, etc., release fuel pressure and prevent fuel spray.
1. Disconnect the fuel pump connector.
2. Start the engine and let it run until it stops naturally. Turn the ignition switch "OFF".
3. Connect the fuel pump connector.
