Standard value: 0.07 - 0.15 mm (0.003 - 0.005 inch)
Limit: 0.3 rum (0.01 inch)
CAUTION: The drive and driven gear must be replaced as a set, otherwise the transmission will suffer severe internal damage.
If the limit is exceeded, replace the drive and driven gear.
If the limit is still exceeded, replace the oil pump body.
Tip Clearance
1. Using a feeler gauge, measure the crescent-to-driven gear clearance.
Standard value: 0.11 - 0.14 mm (0.004 - 0.005 inch)
Limit: 0.3 mm (0.01 inch)
If the limit is exceeded, replace the drive and driven gear.
If the limit is still exceeded, replace the oil pump body.
Side Clearance
1. Using a square and feeler gauge, measure the side clearance of the gears with respect to the stator shaft mounting surface.
Standard value: 0.02- 0.05 mm (0.0008 - 0.001 inch)
Limit: 0.3 mm (0.01 inch)
If the limit is exceeded, replace the drive and driven gear.
If the limit is still exceeded, replace the oil pump body.
