Vacuum Brake Booster: Service and Repair
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Do not remove the check valve from the vacuum hose. If the check valve is defective, replace it together with the vacuum hose.
Installation Service Points
>A< Vacuum Hose Connection
>B< Clearance Adjustment between brake Booster Pushrod and Primary Piston
1. Set the special tool MB99174 in the master cylinder.
2. Set the special tool shaft to a position where it lightly contacts the master cylinder's piston.
3. Turn the thumb bolt to fix the shaft.
