8. After adjustment, check that the clutch pedal free play (measured at the face of the pedal pad) is within the standard value range.
Standard value (C): 6 - 13 mm (0.24 - 0.51 inch)
Standard value (D): 56 mm (2.2 inches) or more
9. If not within the standard value, it is probably the result of either air in the hydraulic system or a faulty master cylinder or clutch. Bleed the air, or
disassemble and inspect the master cylinder or clutch.
10. Turn back the carpet, etc.
