CHANGED SIDE STEP MOUNTING - SERVICE MANUAL REVISION

PURPOSE
This bulletin contains corrections and revisions relating to the side step assembly mounting bolts, nuts, and tightening torque for vehicle produced
beginning August 2, 2000.

The tightening torque for the front and rear side step M8 assembly mounting bolts is increased.
^
The upper center side step mount is changed from a bolt & weld nut mounting to a nut & weld bolt mounting.
^
The upper rear side stop mount is changed from a nut & weld bolt mounting to a bolt and weld nut mounting.
Write the TSB revision number of this bulletin in the "TSB Revision" box at the bottom of the affected service manual page.
