About the Outlander
The Outlander is a compact crossover made since 2001, first sold in Japan as the Airtrek. The second generation of 2006 used the Outlander name everywhere, was built on Mitsubishi's GS platform and was also sold as the Citroën C-Crosser and Peugeot 4007. Global sales passed 1.5 million in 2016.
