CHANGE IN OUTPUT VOLTAGE FROM ENGINE ECM - SERVICE MANUAL REVISION
PURPOSE
On affected vehicles, power supply voltage for the crank angle sensor and cam position sensor output from the engine control module (ECM) has been
changed from 5V to 16V. Depending on the actual vehicle production date, the ECM reference voltage could be either 5V or 16V.
When troubleshooting an affected vehicle with a replacement ECM, remember that the ECM referenced voltage could be either 5V or 16V.
This bulletin contains revised service manual wiring diagrams and troubleshooting procedures for DTC P0335, P0340, and P0365 to include the new
ECM output voltage. Only the voltage value has been changed.
