Outlander 4WD L4-2.4L (4B12) (2008)
2. Measure the voltage between AC inverter connector D-128 (terminal No. 1) and the body ground.
-
The voltage should measure approximately 12 volts (battery positive voltage).
Q: Does the voltage measure battery voltage?
YES : Go to Step 5.
NO : Go to Step 3.
STEP 3. Check the wiring harness between AC inverter connector D-128 (terminal No. 1) and fusible link (34).
NOTE: Before the wiring harness check, check intermediate connector C-32 and C-35, ETACS-ECU connector C-308,and then repair them if
necessary.
Q: Is the wiring harness between AC inverter connector D-128 (terminal No. 1) and fusible link (34) in good condition?
YES : Go to Step 4.
NO : Repair the wiring harness between AC inverter connector D-128 and fusible link (34).
STEP 4. Retest the system
Q: Is the check result normal?
YES : The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to general (Body and Chassis), How to use Troubleshooting/inspection Service Points
How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction).
NO : Carry out the troubleshooting again.
STEP 5. Measure the voltage at AC inverter connector D-128.
1. Disconnect the connector, and measure at the wiring harness side.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
3. Measure the voltage between AC inverter connector D-128 (terminal No. 3) and the body ground.
-
The voltage should measure approximately 12 volts (battery positive voltage).
Q: Does the voltage measure battery voltage?
YES : Go to Step 8.
