NOTE: Also check intermediate connector C-105 and joint connector C-02 for loose, corroded, or damaged terminals, or terminals pushed back in the
connector. If intermediate connector C-105 or joint connector C-02 is damaged, repair or replace the damaged component(s) as described in
Harness Connector Inspection.
Q: Is the wiring harness between ETACS-ECU connector C-219 (terminal 63) and powertrain control module connector C-110 (terminal 80) in good
condition?
YES: Replace the ETACS-ECU. If the wiper interval can be adjusted normally, it indicates that the windshield intermittent wiper interval adjusting
knob should send a signal to the ECU.
NO: The wiring harness may be damaged or the connector(s) may have loose, corroded or damaged terminals, or terminals pushed back in the
connector. Repair the wiring harness as necessary. If the wiper interval can be adjusted normally, it indicates that the windshield intermittent wiper
interval adjusting knob should send a signal to the ECU.
Inspection Procedure O-9
Transmitter: The ETACS-ECU does not receive any signal from the lock or unlock switch.
