WATER TEMPERATURE SWITCH TORQUE SPECIFICATION
PURPOSE
This bulletin presents new torque specifications for the water temperature switch in the thermostat housing on some models equipped with air
conditioning. See Fig. 1.
CAUTION
Tightening the switch too much will crack the thermostat housing!
TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
7.5 Nm (65 inch-lb)
NOTE:
After torquing the switch, be sure to re-connect the wire, which serves as a ground for the A/C compressor. Without this ground the compressor will
not operate!
