Dashboard / Instrument Panel: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering wheel.

3. Remove steering column upper and lower shroud, Fig. 6.
4. Remove hood release handle retaining screws, then the hood release handle.
5. Remove center bezel assembly.
6. Remove left side lower crash pad retaining screws, then pull crash pad outward and disconnect electrical connector.
7. Remove glove compartment.
8. Remove right side lower crash pad retaining screws, then pull crash pad outward and disconnect electrical connectors.
