Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Location

REMOVAL
1.

Disconnect the harness connector.

2.

Remove the connector from the bracket.

3.

Remove the two phillips head screws. 

4.

Remove the sensor.

INSTALLATION
1.

Install the sensor.

2.

Install the two phillips head screws.

3.

Reconnect the harness connector.

4.

Reinstall the connector in the bracket.

5.

Refer to ADJUSTMENTS for adjustment to obtain the proper alignment setting.
