Idle Speed Control (ISC) Servo Connector

Turn the key to the OFF position and disconnect the ISC servo connector.

To prevent the throttle valve from sticking closed, open and close the throttle 2 or 3 times and allow it to click shut.

Fixed SAS Location

Loosen the fixed SAS screw until it no longer touches the throttle lever.

8.

Start the engine and check the idle speed.

Idle Speed....700 ± 100 rpm

If the idle speed is not as indicated, adjust by turning the ISC adjusting screw.

10. Turn the SAS adjusting screw until the idle speed just begins to raise, the turn it the opposite direction until the rpm's cease to change (touch point).
11. Turn the SAS adjusting screw back another 1/2 turn.
12. Stop the engine and turn the key to the ON position.
