Front Steering Knuckle: Service and Repair

1. Remove dust cover, cotter pin, driveshaft retaining nut and washer, then raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove wheel and tire assembly.
3. Remove brake caliper and support with suitable wire.
4. Remove ball joint stud retaining nut, then separate ball joint from steering knuckle.
5. Remove retaining nut, then separate tie rod from steering knuckle.
6. Remove driveshaft from hub.
7. Remove steering knuckle to strut retaining nuts and bolts, then the steering knuckle, brake disc, hub and bearings as an assembly.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
