Installation Procedure

1.

Lift the vehicle and remove the left rear suspension bump stopper mounting nut.

Note:

If the bump stopper mounting nut or the stud is damaged, replace them.

2.

Hold the stopper by reaching into the coil spring. Place the protector against the bottom of the spring seat so the threaded stud on the stopper
passes through the protector. Align the drain hole in the protector with the drain hole in the suspension arm's spring seat.

3.

Reinstall the stopper mounting nut and torque to 18 N-m (13 ft.lb.).

4.

Check the gap between the end corner of the rear suspension arm protector and the fuel tank flange.
