EGR Control Solenoid: Testing and Inspection
System Schematic
To test the EGR Solenoid Valve, located on the rear bulkhead, proceed as follows.
EGR Solenoid Vacuum Test
1.
Mark and disconnect the yellow and green striped vacuum hoses from the solenoid valve.
2.
Disconnect the electrical harness connector.
3.
Connect a manual vacuum pump to the nipple that the green striped hose was removed from.
