Check continuity between control relay terminals, Fig. 38, with relay coil energized and not energized as shown, Fig. 39. To energize coils, L1
and L2, apply battery voltage across terminals 6 and 4.

Check continuity between control relay terminals, Fig. 38, with relay coil energized and not energized as shown, Fig. 40. To energize coil, L3,
apply battery voltage across terminals 8 and 4.
3.
If test results are not satisfactory, replace control relay.
