PROCEDURE
1.

Oil the input shaft thread and install the locknut.

2.

Tighten the locknut to 138-156 N-m(102-115 ft.lbs) and stake it with a punch as shown in Fig. 2, Page 2. Stake the nut only at the notch in the
shaft as shown in Fig. 3. Do NOT deform the end of the nut or it will hit the breather, damaging or breaking the breather (Fig. 4).
