About the 200SX
The 200SX was the export name for several generations of the Nissan Silvia sports coupe, first sold in the US as the Datsun 200SX from 1976. The name was revived for 1995 for a coupe based on the Sentra, which replaced the two-door Sentra.
What these manuals cover
- 1982–1987 (Silvia-based): the 2.2-litre (Z22E) and 2.0-litre (CA20E) fours, and the 3.0-litre V6 (VG30E).
- 1995–1998 (Sentra-based): the 1.6-litre DOHC four (GA16DE) and the SE-R's 2.0-litre SR20DE.
Tip: the later 200SX shares its engines with the Sentra of the same years.
