Disconnect the positive (+) battery cable and remove the battery hold down bracket, heatshield and battery (Figure 2).

Clean any debris that may be on the battery tray and place the rubber spacer (P/N 999M1-Z6000) in the tray (Figure 3).

Install the replacement battery, heatshield and hold down hardware and connect the positive battery cable. Then connect the negative battery
cable (Figure 4).

6.

Reset clock and the AM/FM radio stations to those noted in step 1.
