2. Loosen lock nut and adjust clearance C1 and C2 with stop lamp switch and ASCD brake switch (or A/T shift lock switch) respectively. Then

tighten lock nuts.

3. Check pedal free play.  Make sure that stop lamps go "OFF" when pedal is released.
4. Check brake pedal's depressed height with engine running. If lower than specification, check for leaks, air in system, or damage to components

(master cylinder, wheel cylinder, etc.). Then make the necessary repairs.
