7. Mark the inside headliner with a line, 2 inches (50.8 mm) back from the opening as shown in Figure 5.

This is where the additional headliner fasteners (1a and 1b) will be added as shown in Figure 6

8. For the two Upper Headliner fasteners being replaced [2] and [3]: Remove any remaining residue from the roof bow with an appropriate scraper.

Clean all metal surfaces with cleaner (50% isopropyl alcohol 50% water mixture) before applying the thin type headliner fastener to the flat spots
in the Roof Bow.
